The D&I Systems Operations Lead

The D&I Systems Operations Lead will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Systems Operations team.

  • Ensures that the Systems Manager is informed with regards to the operational capacity and functionality of the server estate. This includes improvements, risks, changes, and problems.
  • Manages multiple infrastructure projects, delivery of new initiatives, and responsible for DR and BC planning, within the remit of the Systems Operations Team.
  • Line manages Systems Operations engineers.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to junior, senior, and advanced engineers.
  • Lead on investigating a range of specialist and complex D&I issues, following the relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Responsible for ensuring a structured approach for problem, incident, and change management processes.
  • Primarily remote working with some on-site duties as and when required.
  • The role is part of the on-call Systems rota.
