Systems (QHSEI) Manager

About the Role

As a Systems (QHSEI) Manager, you will lead and develop management systems across Traka Technology UK, focusing on Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and Information Security (QHSEI) standards. Reporting to the Quality Director (Global Operations), you will collaborate with the UK Operations Director and regional business leaders to ensure global alignment, compliance, and best practices, while also supporting local operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

You would be responsible for:

  • Driving implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001) across global and UK sites, maximising audit readiness and compliance
  • Leading QHSEI activities in the UK, including:
    • Conducting management reviews
    • Engaging with stakeholders
    • Acting as the main contact for BSI and certification bodies
  • Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring effective governance, risk management, and continuous improvement of management systems
  • Collaborating with global and local teams on:
    • Quality initiatives
    • Sustainability programmes
    • Crisis management frameworks
    • Compliance reporting
  • Managing and developing Health & Safety leadership in the UK, ensuring adequate resource allocation and capacity-building across regions

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone who:

Essential Criteria

  • Strong experience managing QHSEI systems in an international or multi-site environment
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001), including audit processes
  • Proven experience of cross-functional collaboration, working with stakeholders at all levels—including senior leadership
  • Comfort operating in a hands-on role, balancing strategic leadership with operational execution
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to drive compliance and change

Nice to Have

  • NEBOSH certification
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology, or engineering environments
