Security Clearance Requirements

Due to the nature of the work and access to classified information, candidates must hold a British passport and be eligible to obtain and maintain the required UK national security clearance and/or EU security clearance, in line with applicable government, security, and export control regulations.

Role Overview

This is a site-based role with the potential to work from home one day a week, only when the nature of the work permits.

At Parker Meggitt, you won’t just support aerospace innovation — you’ll help drive it. As a Qualification Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in proving and delivering advanced, safety-critical technologies for the next generation of commercial and military aircraft. Your work will support high-profile programmes, demanding customers, and real-world aerospace performance where quality, precision, and reliability matter.

You’ll join a growing, high-performing engineering team where talented colleagues and supportive leaders are committed to helping you develop, stretch your skills, and build a rewarding career. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role with genuine impact — ideal for someone who wants to be close to cutting-edge aerospace programmes and see their work make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support system verification activities, including system, qualification, and flight testing
  • Prepare clear, robust qualification plans, procedures, and reports to support programme milestones
  • Support system certification and customer approval activities
  • Work within rigorous configuration control, review, and change management processes
  • Contribute to estimates, task planning, and risk management activities
  • Build trusted customer relationships by responding to requests promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and wider business functions to deliver successful outcomes
  • Engage with external subcontract organisations where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
