Systems Training Specialist – 3 Month Contract
Location: St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA
Rate: £450.00 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 3 Month Contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working
Pay: Bi-Weekly
Summary
Sutton Council is on the lookout for a skilled Systems Training Specialist to play a pivotal role in the rollout of a significant Adult Social Care systems initiative. The ideal candidate will have recent experience with Mosaic Adult Social Care training and will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and executing a robust training programme. Responsibilities include creating training materials, formulating a training plan, establishing a Google-based training microsite, and conducting end-user training for Adult Social Care services. This position is crucial for ensuring business readiness, fostering user adoption, and facilitating a smooth implementation across the council.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Planning
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive training strategy for Adult Social Care users.
- Perform training needs assessments to identify learning requirements.
- Develop detailed training plans aligned with project milestones and delivery goals.
- Support activities that promote business readiness and user adoption.
Training Materials Development
- Design engaging, user-centric training materials and documentation.
- Develop:
- User Guides
- Quick Reference Guides
- Process Maps
- Training Presentations
- Supporting Learning Resources
- Ensure all materials accurately reflect Adult Social Care processes and Mosaic functionality.

Google Training Microsite
- Design, implement, and manage a Google-based training microsite.
- Organize and upload training resources and documentation.
- Create an accessible knowledge hub for end users.
- Ensure materials are current and easily accessible.
Training Delivery
- Conduct Mosaic system training for Adult Social Care staff and stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, system demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Offer post-training support and guidance to users.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify additional support needs.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with project teams, managers, and operational staff.
- Support organizational change and system adoption initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on training progress and delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Recent experience delivering Mosaic Adult Social Care training.
- Experience in developing and delivering systems training programmes.
- Proficiency in producing:
- Training Plans
- User Guides
- Learning Materials
- Process Documentation
- Reference Materials
- Experience in building and maintaining Google Sites / Google Microsites.
- Strong understanding of Adult Social Care processes and workflows.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience in supporting system implementation, transformation, or change projects.
- Ability to translate technical system functionality into user-friendly training content.
- Experience working within Local Authority Adult Social Care services.

- Project delivery experience within Local Government.
