Description

Are you passionate about building strong relationships with employers and creating opportunities that help young people develop the skills, experience and confidence they need for their future careers?

Sandwell College is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised T-Level Employer Engagement Coordinator to join our T-Level Industrial Placement Team on a permanent, full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in connecting our T-Level students with employers and industry organisations, helping to secure high-quality work placements and industry projects that complement their studies and support their career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an employer engagement strategy for T-Level programmes
  • Build and maintain relationships with businesses, industry bodies and professional networks
  • Source meaningful work placements and industry projects for students
  • Prepare and coach students before placement and carry out placement reviews
  • Work closely with curriculum and support teams to ensure placements meet programme requirements
  • Support employers throughout the placement journey
  • Coordinate risk assessments and health & safety checks
  • Represent the College at industry events and networking opportunities

  • Proven experience in employer engagement, business development or partnership management, ideally within education or training
  • Strong understanding of employer needs and expectations across a range of industries
  • Awareness of workforce development challenges and opportunities
  • Knowledge of the education sector, student placements and workforce development initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS Office, relationship management software and relevant digital tools
  • Understanding of T-Level requirements and high-quality industry placement
  • Full UK Driving Licence
