TA Employability Co-ordinator – Pathways

Full time - Permanent
Salary - £27000 PA
Home based attached to Homer Road
Requirement to travel nationally for events

We're looking for a TA Pathways Employability Co-ordinator to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, employability and inclusive recruitment, and enjoys building relationships with candidates, community partners and internal stakeholders.

As our Pathways programme continues to grow, you'll play a key role in ensuring candidates have an excellent experience while helping us develop talent pipelines that support both our business and our commitment to social value.

What you'll be doing

As the TA Pathways Employability Co-ordinator, you'll provide coordination and administrative support across the Pathways programme, helping candidates navigate opportunities and ensuring our employability initiatives run smoothly.

You'll:

  • Coordinate candidate engagement activities, supporting individuals from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds throughout their journey.
  • Build and maintain talent pools, ensuring candidate information is accurate and up to date.
  • Organise outreach events, employability workshops, careers fairs and community engagement activities.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, events and programme delivery.
  • Develop positive relationships with community organisations, employability providers and social recruitment partners.
  • Screen candidate applications for eligibility and transferable skills before referring suitable talent to recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process, providing guidance and regular updates.
  • Track programme activity, engagement and conversion metrics to support reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all candidate information is managed accurately and compliantly.
  • Represent Serco at community events and employability initiatives when required.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and is confident engaging with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, employability, community engagement or a similar people-focused role.
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to build relationships with candidates, colleagues and external partners.
  • A customer and candidate-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office (experience using ATS or CRM systems would be beneficial).
  • An understanding of inclusive recruitment, employability or social value would be advantageous.
