Tactical Sales Representative (TSR) (£28,000 – £30,000 per year) + Car Allowance (£350 per month)
Role Overview
A key client of ours, one of the world's top manufacturers within the Tobacco Industry, is currently seeking Tactical Sales Representative to provide flexible field support across an assigned region. The primary focus of the role is delivering in-store events and activities, which requires regular driving and travel throughout the territory. Additionally, this role covers vacant territories, assists colleagues during absences, and contributes to regional projects.

Key Responsibilities
- In-Store activation: Deliver in-store consumer engagement, product sampling, brand advocacy, and new product launch support as briefed by the Regional Manager.
- Territory Coverage: Manage sales territories during holidays, sickness, or vacancies while following agreed visit frequencies, priority stores, and store tiering.
- Activity Tracking: Record field activity accurately, provide post-visit/post-event feedback, and log all covered territory activities on the Monday board.
- Relationship Management: Flag any retailer relationships, issues, or opportunities requiring follow-up or handover to the Regional Manager.
- Trade Support: Support wholesale depot events, retailer engagement, and trade education activities with distribution partners.
- Onboarding & Transitions: Assist with onboarding new sales representatives through joint visits and shadow sessions, and help maintain operational continuity during territory splits or reallocations.
- Regional Flexibility: Respond flexibly to changing priorities, travel across the region at short notice, and undertake other assigned projects.

Candidate Requirements

- Full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Willing and able to drive across the entire assigned region with comfort for frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Flexible and responsive to shifting regional priorities.
- Confident communication skills with both retailers and consumers.
- Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Available for occasional evening or weekend events.
- Previous field sales, retail, FMCG, or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year
- Car Allowance: £350 per month
- Travel Expenses: All reasonable and approved business travel expenses (including mileage, parking, tolls, and accommodation) are reimbursed upon submission of valid receipts per company policy.
