Tactical Sourcing Manager Wanted
Our client is looking for a proactive, tenacious, and highly organised Tactical Sourcing specialist to join our Purchasing team on a 12-month contract.
Are you the person who sees an outstanding action and thinks, “I’ll sort that”, and then actually does? We’re currently recruiting for a Tactical Sourcing Manager to join a leading organisation on a 12-month contract.
This is a highly operational procurement role — perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, chasing actions, coordinating stakeholders, and making sure nothing gets left sitting in someone’s inbox.
What Will You Be Doing?
You’ll provide hands-on support across a range of tactical procurement activities, including:
- Supplier onboarding: coordinating activity, following up with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and driving actions through to completion.
- RFx administration: preparing documentation, coordinating supplier responses, and keeping timelines on track.
- Contract administration: maintaining accurate records and supporting contract extensions and related activities.
- PO compliance: reviewing reports, following up with business partners, and helping identify and resolve issues.
- Procurement coordination: managing multiple activities, tracking owners and deadlines, and escalating blockers when required.

Previous Purchasing / Procurement experience is essential, with experience in areas such as supplier onboarding, RFx administration, contract administration, or PO follow-up highly desirable.

Contract Details
12 Months - to £300 a day
