Job Title: Tailor (Pre-Opening Team) – Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch
About the Role
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking an experienced Tailor to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional to become part of the founding team, shaping the guest experience at this landmark hotel. Located adjacent to The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, the hotel will feature:
- 100 elegantly crafted rooms and suites
- 17,500 sq ft of private residences
- Signature restaurants: Coreus (Clare Smyth) and Café Boulud (Daniel Boulud) – two Michelin-starred chefs
- A world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and grand event spaces (including a 320-seat ballroom).

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the pre-opening team, ensuring seamless service delivery from launch
- Provide expert tailoring services for guest uniforms, staff attire, and premium hotel bespoke requirements
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain the hotel’s five-star standards of elegance and attention to detail
- Support the implementation of tailored initiatives that create memorable, exclusive guest experiences

Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality tailoring, preferably within high-end hotels or bespoke retail environments
- Strong knowledge of beauteous sewing standards, fabric selection, and craftsmanship suitable for elite clientele
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment with high organization and precision
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, five-star service in alignment with Waldorf Astoria’s brand ethos
