Police Scotland Talent Acquisition Advisor Opportunity
Police Scotland is recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to play a vital role in recruiting the talented people who keep our organisation running.
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will support the end-to-end recruitment of Police Scotland Staff, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to attract and appoint the right people to a diverse range of specialist and professional roles in business areas such as Finance, Legal, HR, Estates, and Digital.
This is a great opportunity to use your Talent Acquisition skillset and experience in a role that directly contributes to the people and services that support policing across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist by sourcing, assessing, and successfully placing candidates in Police Staff roles in the organisation
- Provide end-to-end recruitment process working closely with multiple hiring managers across the organisation, including advertising, direct sourcing of candidates, managing advert responses, evaluating applications, as well as supporting interviews
- Ensure effective administrative support, aiding successful delivery of the staff recruitment service across the force; ensure positive candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process; provide line management support for a team of recruitment administrators

Preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- 360⁰ recruitment experience
- Senior stakeholder liaison up to HoD level
- Leading on recruitment campaigns
- Providing detailed reporting from e-recruitment systems
- Deputising for senior colleagues in their absence
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand, shape and create effective recruitment campaigns
- Engaging, developing and building recruitment brands
- Training and development of colleagues on end-to-end recruitment processes
- Maintaining recruitment applicant tracking systems
- Tracking recruitment metrics and presenting to stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, department heads, and other stakeholders
- Current up-to-date knowledge of market trends, industry salary standards, and competitor hiring practices
- Current up-to-date knowledge of employment law legislation for all aspects of the recruitment process
- Experience delivering stakeholder recruitment workshops and presentations
