About the Role:
The Learning Experience (TLE) and Banana Moon are looking for a Talent Acquisition and Operations Specialist to own day-to-day recruitment delivery and talent systems execution across our TLE UK childcare centres and Banana Moon nursery locations.
Responsibilities:
Based at Banana Moon Head Office in Warwickshire, this role combines hands-on recruiting with hands-on ownership of our applicant tracking system, GoHire.
- Manage vacancies and candidate pipelines directly with centre and nursery leaders.
- Partner closely with our Senior Manager, Talent Operations and Enablement to execute recruitment systems, workflows, processes, and initiatives.
- Recruitment Delivery:
- Own day-to-day recruitment activity across TLE UK centres and Banana Moon nursery locations.
- Partner with Centre Directors, Nursery Managers, and operational leaders to understand current and upcoming staffing needs.
- Build and manage vacancies in GoHire and ensure job adverts are accurate, engaging, and appropriately targeted.
- Manage candidate pipelines and proactively drive qualified candidates through the recruitment process.
- Conduct candidate screening and support interview coordination where required.
- Maintain strong candidate communication throughout the recruitment journey.
- Follow up with hiring managers to ensure candidates are reviewed, interviewed, and progressed in a timely manner.
- Identify hard-to-fill vacancies and execute targeted sourcing and attraction activity.
- Support full-cycle recruitment activity from vacancy opening through offer and handoff into pre-employment.
- Maintain the weekly recruitment tracker and reporting rhythm, highlighting pipeline health, sourcing wins, risks, and required actions for Operations and Talent leadership.
- Support the transition of successful candidates into safer recruitment and pre-employment processes.
- Talent Systems and Operations:
- Execute GoHire initiatives designed by the Senior Manager, Talent Operations and Enablement, including system configuration, workflow builds, testing, and rollout of new functionality.
- Build and maintain jobs, templates, workflows, and recruitment content within GoHire.
- Support ongoing configuration and optimization of the ATS.
- Provide first-line system support to hiring managers and troubleshoot routine GoHire issues.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure vacancy, candidate, and hiring data remain accurate.
- Test system changes and new functionality before rollout.
- Support user adoption and provide practical guidance to hiring managers using GoHire.
- Maintain recruitment process documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify system or process gaps and recommend improvements to the Senior Manager, Talent Operations and Enablement.
- Support recruitment reporting, data integrity, and ongoing process improvement.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or recruitment operations, ideally within a multi-site environment.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Proven experience working within an applicant tracking system beyond basic candidate management; system administration or configuration experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with multiple ATS environments preferred.
- Confidence taking ownership of a project or workstream and executing it independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills and experience preparing regular stakeholder updates or recruitment reporting.
- Comfortable working directly with hiring managers and following up to drive action and candidate progression.
- Able to interpret recruitment activity and identify where intervention is needed.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
