Typical Activities
Working in collaboration with the People Team, UK Leadership, hiring managers, Security and external partners, the Talent Acquisition and People Coordinator will support the delivery of recruitment, people administration, learning and employee experience activities. You will play a key role in creating a positive experience for candidates and colleagues while helping us attract, onboard and develop great people.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, offers and onboarding.
- Draft and manage job adverts across platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, WORK180 and university channels.
- Proactively source candidates through our ATS/CRM, LinkedIn and talent networks, while developing and maintaining talent pools.
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls and provide a positive, engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support talent attraction activities, including careers events, recruitment campaigns and careers collateral.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation, ensuring employee and candidate records remain accurate and compliant.
- Coordinate internal learning and development activity, including training bookings, attendance, records, certifications and external providers.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and colleague feedback initiatives.
- Respond to day-to-day People queries and support the effective delivery of People policies and processes.
- Produce recruitment, People and training reports and insights, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, HR/People or a similar coordination role.
- An understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, with experience supporting candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Teams, alongside the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
- A proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to support different areas of the People function.
- A genuine interest in developing a career across Talent Acquisition and People.

Desirable
- Experience recruiting technical, engineering, cyber or other specialist roles.
- Experience recruiting candidates who hold or require SC or DV security clearance.
- Experience using an ATS/CRM, particularly JobAdder, or tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Exposure to learning and development coordination, employment law, right-to-work or recruitment compliance.
- CIPD Level 3, a relevant recruitment qualification, or currently working towards one.

Qualifications & Eligibility
To Be Eligible For This Position You Must
- Have relevant experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, HR/People or a similar coordination role;
- Be a British citizen; and
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC level clearance.
