Job Title

My client, a leading corporate and commercial law firm, who is expanding across the globe, are now looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join their wider team, on a permanent basis.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented recruitment professional to join a highly respected international law firm during an exciting period of growth. Working within a collaborative Talent Acquisition team, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive recruitment coordination and administrative support, whilst also contributing to direct sourcing initiatives, candidate research projects and wider talent acquisition activities.

Responsibilities

  • Joining a busy and fast-paced Talent Acquisition function, you will support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment processes across a variety of business areas.
  • You'll work closely with Talent Acquisition professionals, HR colleagues, Partners and business leaders to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinating interviews, meetings, assessments and recruitment-related events.
  • Managing complex interview scheduling and diary coordination across multiple stakeholders.
  • Liaising with candidates, agencies, hiring managers and business support teams throughout the recruitment process.
  • Preparing interview packs, offer documentation and recruitment correspondence.
  • Managing recruitment inboxes and maintaining recruitment calendars.
  • Supporting candidate onboarding and offer administration processes.
  • Tracking agency agreements and managing relevant recruitment documentation.
  • Ensuring all recruitment information is accurately maintained within the applicant tracking system.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Delivering a professional, responsive and engaging recruitment experience.
  • Managing interview changes and ensuring timely communication with all parties.
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives through professional candidate engagement.
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with candidate sourcing activities.
  • Conducting market research and identifying potential talent through a range of channels.
  • Building candidate pipelines and talent pools for future hiring needs.
  • Utilising LinkedIn, job boards and other sourcing tools to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conducting initial CV screening and managing speculative applications.
  • Posting and managing job advertisements across internal and external platforms.
  • Supporting direct sourcing initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
  • Assisting with social media and employer branding activities.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment attraction strategies.
  • Producing recruitment reports, metrics and management information.
  • Supporting budget tracking, invoice processing and recruitment expenditure management.
  • Maintaining recruitment guides, process documentation and internal resources.

  • Previous experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or a related people-focused environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation.
  • Confidence liaising with candidates and senior stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within a legal, professional services or corporate environment.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards or other recruitment channels.
  • Exposure to applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
  • Experience producing recruitment reports and analysing hiring data.
