We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate Consultant on a 6 month Temporary Assignment to drive active sourcing for our Sales management roles. Please be aware, should this Temporary Assignment have the potential to go permanent, the colleague on the Temporary Assignment will have first-refusal of the role (provided measures have been met).
What you'll do
- Work closely with our team of Talent Acquisition Consultants in Sales to understand hard-to-fill and critical roles across Sales for Lidl GB
- Join briefing calls, led by the Consultants, with hiring managers to understand more about the specifics of the hard-to-fill positions, and how you can help with active sourcing
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter, alongside other active sourcing tools, to build up a pipeline of candidates for our most hard-to-fill locations
- Speak to candidates about opportunities at Lidl, talking them through the role, culture, benefits and application process, encouraging an application to Lidl; if you feel they are the right fit
- Conducting first stage telephone interviews with candidates for Deputy Store Manager, Store Manager and Area Manager roles
- Working with the Consultant managing the job files, presenting your shortlist after telephone interview
- Occasional travel to visit hiring managers and the regional Heads of HR to understand more about the challenges recruiting for their areas and roles, to get a better understanding of the recruitment market and possible solutions

What you'll need
- Experience in recruitment, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of active sourcing, specifically using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Confidence using ATS systems (SuccessFactors experience is a plus!)
- A passion for delivering a great candidate experience
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep things moving
- Self-motivated, able to work well in a team and independently within a high-pressured environment
