The Role
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) is Kyndryl's single, strategic voice of TA for their assigned business and HR leaders, spanning early career through executive hiring. The role partners closely with the HRBP aligned to each pacesetter, so hiring strategy and people strategy move together, not in parallel.
The TABP understands what drives revenue and growth for each business leader, their targets, pressures, and where talent is the constraint, and prioritizes talent effort around the roles that move the needle most.
The TABP is embedded early in new business conversations, advising deal teams on talent availability, cost, and market competitiveness, especially for scarce and emerging skills. That early visibility becomes an early demand signal, alerting the TA Delivery Leader ahead of formal demand so capacity is ready before a deal signs.
The TABP also partners with Workforce Solutions to build one holistic staffing view across critical accounts, covering internal talent, contingent labor, and external hiring together.
The role is measured first on business results (deals won, delivery unblocked, revenue enabled) and second on TA process.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Readiness
- Get ahead of talent demand by staying close to deal teams, catching demand at the deal stage, not after signature
- Alert the TA Delivery Leader well ahead of formal demand, so delivery capacity is ready before a deal signs
- Pipeline critical skills ahead of signature; ensure reqs open with clear role definitions within 2 weeks
- Push back on the business when hiring expectations aren't realistic, so timelines are set honestly upfront
Talent Market Insight
- Advise deal teams and business leaders on talent availability, pricing, and scarcity before commitments are made, especially for emerging and niche skills
- Partner with RSR to bring outside market intelligence into deal and account conversations
- Share market intelligence and learnings with peer TABPs so insight compounds across accounts
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Growth Partnership
- Understand what drives revenue and growth for each business leader, and prioritize talent effort around the roles that move the needle most
- Communicate hiring progress in business terms: what's unblocked, what's at risk, and what it means for the deal or delivery date
- Partner closely with the HRBP aligned to each pacesetter, so hiring and people strategy move in lockstep
- Own the strategic partnership with Workforce Solutions, building one holistic staffing view across internal, contingent, and external talent
- Bring the business leader into hiring decisions as a growth conversation, not a status update
Business Impact
- Ensure staffing readiness does not delay delivery start or the business's ability to bill
- Contribute to the design of Kyndryl's evolving staff augmentation delivery model, bringing the account-level view of client staffing needs as it's built out
