Your role in the team

The Talent Acquisition Consultant has a direct working relationship across all business areas and provides consulting services related to sourcing, researching, marketing, recruiting, screening candidates, interview management and recommendations to meet business area hiring goals. The Talent Acquisition Consultant manages searches by overseeing the recruiting process including the hiring strategy, sourcing approach and client relationships. They are responsible for maintaining accurate and concise records and reports for all phases of the recruitment process.

In this role you will also develop recruitment skills through project work and candidate sourcing. You will be target driven and able to respond and manage within tight deadlines, always applying the highest standards to your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal clients and external resources to ensure that Talent Acquisition strategies, programs and tools provide a pipeline of qualified talent for open positions
  • Serve as a primary source of staffing and recruitment advice, consultation, and education to determine position requirements and effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide consulting services and build collaborative relationships with internal clients (HRBPs, hiring managers, senior leaders); provide updates and conduct status calls based on client need (reporting, sourcing efforts, and recruiting analytics)
  • Assisting with all aspects of Early Careers recruitment
  • Assisting with scheduling of interviews and assessments and preparation of interview materials
  • Management of background check process for all new hires
  • Attendance at and supporting preparation for recruitment events
  • Recruitment systems administration
  • Ensuring candidates and Hiring Managers have a positive experience
  • TA project work as required
  • Other Ad Hoc Tasks As Required

Essential Skills

  • All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate. Allstate is not providing sponsorship for this vacancy.
  • Achieved a 2.1 classification in Human Resources.
  • A minimum of 2 year’s post graduate commercial experience within an in-house recruitment position.
  • Previous technology recruitment experience.
  • Experience with volume recruitment.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing.
  • Experience using Workday.

Desirable Skills

  • Recruiting experience for a large organization (500+)
