Arag Legal Services Recruitment Opportunity

Arag Legal Services is recruiting for a brand new role within the Talent Acquisition Team, initially on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is open to part-time hours.

About the Role

Working as a key part of the recruitment team, you will partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create appropriate hiring strategies to help attract and secure quality talent. You will hold responsibility for sourcing and screening suitable candidates for a diverse range of roles through a direct sourcing model. This role will also be responsible for building talent pipelines, market mapping, and working collaboratively with the wider business to provide up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise.

The successful candidate will ensure the candidate management process is effective, compliant, and timely, whilst also being responsible for screening, managing, and guiding candidates, from introduction to placement.

It is critical that you will provide a high-quality recruitment offering which is flexible, inclusive, and focused on business needs, expertly delivered with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process from role approval to onboarding
  • Enhance talent attraction and recruitment performance by identifying and driving through approaches and initiatives
  • Develop direct delivery recruitment campaigns that are flexible for all areas of the business
  • Provide a credible, approachable, and highly knowledgeable point of contact for candidates and third-party suppliers in regards to the recruitment requirements across the business
  • Work in consultation with stakeholders to provide advice, guidance, and expert execution of attraction campaigns, proactively managing responses
  • Ensure a seamless and swift recruitment process with appropriate involvement from the Hiring Manager, to include:
    • Identification of appropriate routes to market
    • Screen and assess applications of all levels ensuring a fair, transparent, and appropriate process
    • Creating job advertisements and marketing material in line with brand guidelines
    • Helping to coach and develop hiring managers to ensure that they deliver a consistent and compliant candidate experience
    • Educating the wider business where necessary on D&I initiatives and Employment Law
    • Arranging interviews and assessments as required
    • Delivery of candidate feedback

Essential

  • Previous experience of recruiting high-volume vacancies within a regulated or corporate environment is essential either in-house or agency.
  • Previous experience of using applicant tracking systems or online recruitment systems
  • Experience and knowledge of recruitment best practice, process, policy, and awareness of the appropriate legislation
  • Strong experience of direct candidate attraction and proactive candidate sourcing techniques to include identification of passive talent pools
  • Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritizing tasks when required, multitasking, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience recruiting within a regulated environment (Legal, Financial Services, or Insurance)
  • Previous experience of talent mapping and headhunting
  • Experience or exposure to the use of assessment tools and techniques such as competency-based interviewing, psychometric testing, assessment center facilitation
