About the Job
Join UKAEA as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a period of 10 months and help deliver a smooth, inclusive recruitment experience that connects talented people with opportunities to contribute to the future of fusion energy. You’ll play an important role in keeping recruitment campaigns moving efficiently and creating a professional candidate experience from vacancy launch through to interview. It’s an opportunity to build your recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment while supporting UKAEA’s ambitious mission.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process new recruitment requests and set up vacancies accurately within the ATS (SmartRecruiters)
- Publish high-quality, inclusive job adverts that attract a diverse range of candidates and support fair recruitment.
- Coordinate pre-screen and panel interviews for candidates in the UK and overseas, including virtual and in-person arrangements.
- Arrange interview schedules, meeting rooms and additional assessments in collaboration with hiring teams.
- Support candidates throughout the interview process, including welcoming them and ensuring appropriate feedback is provided before and after interviews where required.
- Follow up on vacancy and offer approvals to help recruitment activity progress within agreed service levels.
- Raise requisitions and purchase orders for recruitment advertising and other Talent Acquisition requirements.

What You’ll Bring
- Practical recruitment administration experience
- Competent IT skills and experience working with online systems and digital platforms.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and processing administrative activity using established systems and procedures.
- Experience working in a customer-focused administrative environment, supporting people through defined processes.
UKAEA is an onsite organisation, and this role requires regular onsite presence (usually between 3-5 days in any given week) in line with business needs. We actively support flexible working arrangements where this is compatible with the role.

- A salary of £29,328
- Up to 7% corporate performance bonus
- Final salary defined benefits pension scheme with an equivalent of 21.5% employer pension contribution
