We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People Team and play a pivotal role in supporting the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. This is a true 360 recruitment coordination role, covering everything from candidate screening and interview scheduling through to contract generation, pre-employment checks, and onboarding.
You'll become part of a highly successful, motivated, and supportive Talent Acquisition team that is passionate about delivering a best-in-class recruitment experience. Working collaboratively, you'll help attract and onboard great talent while contributing to the continued success of the business.
This is a hybrid role, with onsite collaboration required at our Haydock Head Office every Tuesday and Wednesday, alongside the flexibility of remote working. You'll also benefit from our Sustainable Work-Life Balance (SWLB) programme, working a 9-day fortnight which gives you every other Thursday off.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you'll support the Recruitment Team and Wider Business by managing the full recruitment administration and onboarding process, including:
- Conducting initial candidate screening calls and confidently engaging with applicants over the phone.
- Managing a high volume of interview scheduling across multiple business functions.
- Generating contracts of employment and offer documentation.
- Coordinating all pre-employment checks, including Right to Work verification, references, DBS checks (where applicable), and other compliance requirements.
- Managing the onboarding journey from offer acceptance through to start date.
- Maintaining accurate candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Providing regular communication and updates to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinating new starter requirements including IT equipment, PPE, system access, inductions, and mandatory training.
- Supporting recruitment projects, reporting, careers events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Ensuring all recruitment activity is compliant with GDPR, employment legislation, and company policies.

What We're Looking For
- A confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with candidates and stakeholders over the phone.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when managing contracts, compliance documentation, and onboarding records.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
- Previous experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration, onboarding, or a similar coordination role.
- Experience managing pre-employment checks and recruitment compliance processes would be advantageous.
- A team player who enjoys working within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Someone with a desire to progress within recruitment.
