Archangel Lightworks is a laser communications company building wireless technology. Founded in 2017, we believe that laser communications to and from satellites is a key component of next-generation infrastructure. Our core product, the TERRA-M, is a deployable optical ground station with proven capability for space-ground data transfer.

About the job
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team and help us attract and hire top talent in the laser communications industry. You will take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of recruitment activity, helping to provide an efficient and engaging hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activity within our ATS, including opening and closing vacancies, progressing candidates through recruitment pipelines, and maintaining accurate candidate and vacancy information
- Partner with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment activity, understand hiring requirements, and keep recruitment processes moving efficiently
- Review and screen CVs against role requirements, identifying candidates to progress through the recruitment process
- Conduct initial screening calls with candidates to assess experience, motivation, and suitability
- Coordinate and complete pre-employment checks as part of the onboarding and recruitment process
- Proactively identify and engage potential candidates through our internal database, professional networks, job boards, and other external sourcing channels
- Monitor recruitment performance using pipeline metrics, sourcing data, and job board effectiveness, providing insight into where we can improve hiring outcomes
- Maintain a high-quality candidate experience through timely, professional, and engaging communication throughout the recruitment process
- Ensure candidate information and recruitment activity are managed in line with GDPR requirements and internal processes

Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a recruitment-focused role
- Experience managing recruitment activity and candidate pipelines using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or other specialist roles
- Experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously
- Good understanding of GDPR requirements and the appropriate handling of candidate and recruitment data
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues

Desirable additional skills:
- Experience analysing recruitment funnel performance and the effectiveness of different sourcing channels.
- Experience working in a start-up, scale-up, or other fast-paced environment.
Location: Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford. There may be opportunity to work from home as agreed with your line manager. There may be opportunity for periodic business travel.
