The RSM Early Careers Talent Acquisition team is responsible for hiring approximately 750 students annually onto our graduate, school leaver and placement programmes. In addition, we offer a variety of work experiences such as work shadowing and internships. The Early Careers Talent Acquisition team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the firm is attracting and selecting high quality, diverse candidates in line with our ‘Grow our Own’ initiative. Our goal is to provide a seamless efficient experience to both candidates applying for our programmes and our internal stakeholders at every stage of the recruitment journey.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced early careers professional to join our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team as an Early Careers Senior Specialist.

Leading a small team of early careers specialists, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the early careers attraction strategy, helping to build a strong and diverse pipeline of future talent. You will work with a wide range of key internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver the RSM early careers recruitment strategy. The role will coordinate and execute attraction activities across multiple channels, including events, digital campaigns, advertising partnerships, educational institutions, and employer branding initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and dynamic early careers team to support delivery of the early careers hiring strategy. Due to the location of existing team members and business needs, this role can be based in one of the following RSM offices:

You will be required to travel to other national RSM offices and attend external events (including occasional evening events) as part of this role throughout the year.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Managing the implementation of the early careers attraction strategy across all student types delivering attraction campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive high-quality applications
  • Partnering effectively with service line stakeholders to become an early careers attraction SME, understand their hiring needs and deliver the required attraction campaigns to successfully support their early careers hiring
  • Planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of attraction activities including careers fairs, insight events, virtual events, employability sessions, and networking opportunities. Identify opportunities for new partnership activity
  • Managing relationships with attraction and advertising partners to maximise campaign effectiveness and within budget. Evaluating partner performance and identifying opportunities to extend the reach within target talent pools.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with universities, schools, colleges, and other educational partners, coordinating engagement plans with target institutions to support talent pipeline development
  • Representing RSM at external events and ensure attendance of other RSM representatives at events who are correctly briefed on necessary details in advance to ensure a smooth event experience
  • Proactively leading a small team to ensure an efficient high-quality service is delivered to both prospective applicants and stakeholders.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience of managing high volume early careers attraction, recruitment marketing, employer branding, or talent acquisition activities
  • Experience of planning and delivering events, both virtual and in-person
  • Ideally experience of working within a professional services or partnership environment
  • Ability to implement creative campaigns and innovative approaches
  • Experience working with external partners, suppliers, or educational institutions
  • Excellent data management and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and present data-driven insights.
  • You must be an adept communicator, with the ability to engage and present to diverse audiences – confident speaking to groups in-person and virtually.
