Talent Acquisition Lead
London
develop is an award-winning tech recruitment business that exists to raise the standard of technical recruitment. We are specialists, high-performing and growing across the UK, Europe and the US – and we are now hiring an Internal Talent Acquisition Lead to help us find and hire the very best people to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who loves recruitment but wants to be closer to the strategy, culture and long-term growth of one business, not juggling dozens of clients. You will own internal hiring across sales, delivery and non-sales functions, and play a key role in shaping what a destination employer looks like at develop.
The Opportunity
As Talent Acquisition Lead, you will:
- Own internal hiring across revenue and non-revenue roles in line with our headcount and growth plans.
- Partner with Directors and managers to understand where we’re going next and build the talent pipelines to get us there.
- Hire specialist tech recruitment teams across software engineering, digital transformation, AI and wider tech, as well as core business support.
- Design and run attraction campaigns across LinkedIn, direct sourcing, Rec2Rec, universities and talent communities.
- Manage the full internal recruitment process: outreach, screening, interviews, feedback, offers and onboarding handover.
- Track pipeline health, conversion rates and hiring performance, and keep leadership close to what the market is telling you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
