Talent Acquisition Manager
Location: Edinburgh BioQuarter/Shawfair. This is a hybrid role, with regular onsite presence required to support collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
This role is eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, in line with current UK Home Office requirements.

Your new role
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll shape how RoslinCT attracts, engages and hires the talented people who help us deliver life-changing cell and gene therapies. You’ll lead our recruitment strategy, partner with leaders across the business and create a positive, efficient hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers.

- Develop and deliver RoslinCT’s talent acquisition strategy, ensuring it supports our business goals, people strategy and continued growth.
- Lead, coach and support the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, creating a collaborative and high-performing recruitment function.
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end recruitment process, driving consistency, efficiency and an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and external partners, providing strategic recruitment guidance and ensuring strong service delivery and value.
- Strengthen RoslinCT’s employer brand and respond creatively to talent market trends to help us attract and retain exceptional people.
- Use recruitment data, insights and technology to track performance, improve processes and measure the success of attraction activity.
- Work closely with the People team on onboarding, people strategy, cross-functional projects and wider business initiatives.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll be confident leading recruitment in a fast-paced environment, building trusted stakeholder relationships and using insight and creativity to help RoslinCT attract the right people for our growing business.
- At least five years’ experience in talent acquisition or senior internal recruitment, ideally gained within a fast-paced, growing organisation; experience in manufacturing and/or life sciences would be highly advantageous.
- Confident leading end-to-end recruitment activity, partnering with hiring managers and providing credible guidance across a range of roles.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment law and fair, inclusive hiring processes.
- Comfortable using ATS platforms, recruitment technologies, Microsoft Office and data insights to improve processes, reporting and candidate experience.
- A strategic, organised and solutions-focused approach, with strong analytical, planning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a commitment to high-quality service and accurate record keeping.
- Passion for employer branding and attracting great talent to a purpose-led organisation.
