About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a key role in delivering our purpose, which is to attract premium talent which will enable RSM to drive growth and achieve the best results. You will be accountable for managing a team, creating and executing RSM service line resourcing strategies that enhance direct hires, ensuring both our candidates and stakeholders experience a truly market leading recruitment service.
This is a 13 month FTC, covering maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Director of Talent, TA teams, HR leadership and Tax and Audit Service Line stakeholders.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of current and future resource forecasts and requirements to identify, attract and hire diverse internal & external talent.
- Managing a Talent Acquisition team, setting directions and deploying resources to deliver a recruitment service to stakeholders with accountability for the performance and results of the team.
- Aligning resource based on volumes ensuring teams accountability.
- Sharing TA vision and strategy with team, accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle while delivering high service to candidates and stakeholders.
- Managing the day-to-day performance of the team, whilst ensuring they are equipped with the direction and tools they need to source and map markets.
- Engaging proactively and ensuring a positive experience for stakeholders and candidates, implementing process improvements as necessary across the team.
- Defining the team operating standards, ensuring essential procedures and policies are followed, setting employee performance objectives, conducting regular performance reviews and team meetings.
- Acting as brand ambassador for TA and RSM, enabling the team to build robust sourcing strategies, decreasing the usage of agencies where possible.
- Being the first point of contact for any hiring manager escalations within the area of responsibility on concerns or issues, owning them and working to resolve these directly.
- Developing service line relationships and seeking opportunities to promote TA vision, structure, and ways of working.
- Working with new technology and external partners to improve tools available to the team establishing and delivering a best-practice process.
- Identifying and engaging with internal and external diversity network groups to promote RSM brand and opportunities.
- Driving and owning projects to enhance the performance of the TA team. Focusing on continuous improvement, process excellence and efficiencies.

About the Ideal Candidate
You will be operating within a TA leadership role, leading a team with senior hiring accountabilities.

- Deep understanding of professional services recruitment, namely audit, tax or consulting.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivering exceptional stakeholder and candidate experience.
- Transformation/Change – experience working within a changing environment, constantly striving for best in class.
- Actively contribute to process improvements with recent demonstrable examples.
- Communication/interpersonal skills - you must be an adept communicator, ability to engage and influence across the business.
- Discretion - you must be aware of the confidential nature of the work.
- Pressure - you must respond well to pressure and deadlines and be effective in fast-paced environments.
- Driven - it is vital that you are completely committed to the job, ready to hit the ground running and are willing to put in extra effort where necessary.
- Professionalism - you are the representative of the company to your team, new starters, candidates, and stakeholders therefore it is essential that you are a brand ambassador for RSM.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues and team members with less experience.
- Able to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
