We’re looking for a driven and people-focused Talent Acquisition Manager on a 15 Month Fixed Term Contract to oversee a team of Talent Acquisition Administrators and an Officer, responsible for hiring top talent across a cluster of regions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strategic thinking with operational excellence. You’ll guide your team, support their development, and ensure recruitment processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our values.

What you'll do
- Manage a dedicated Talent Acquisition team focused on recruitment for our regional roles
- Set clear goals, delegate effectively, and support personal development
- Champion Lidl’s leadership and behavioural principles
- Conduct development conversations and identify progression opportunities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for your business stream
- Plan and forecast hiring needs with regional stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs and improve operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations
- Lead hiring decisions and oversee temporary agency worker processes
- Act as the escalation point for candidate queries and complaints
- Evaluate agency performance and ensure quality candidate pipelines
- Ensure smooth contracting and onboarding processes
- Lead quarterly QPA meetings with stakeholders
- Support national recruitment projects as a subject matter expert
- Collaborate with our employer brand team to boost attraction campaigns
- Provide on-site recruitment support across regional offices, stores and warehouses
What you'll need
- Proven experience in recruitment and team management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Understanding of employment law and recruitment compliance
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
