Talent Acquisition Manager
18-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hybrid Working | 3 days On-site
Up to £70,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you a commercially minded Talent Acquisition professional who thrives on building talent strategies, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes?

We are partnering with one of our clients who is undergoing significant growth and transformation to appoint an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager on an 18-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of recruitment across the UK, driving attraction, sourcing, assessment and hiring strategies while leading continuous improvement across the talent acquisition function.

This role offers genuine visibility across senior leadership teams and the opportunity to shape how talent is identified, attracted and retained in a business where people are at the heart of future success.

As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy and delivery across a multi-site UK operation. Working closely with business leaders, HR colleagues and global stakeholders, you will ensure the organisation attracts and hires high-calibre talent while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping the business make informed hiring decisions through market insight, workforce planning and innovative attraction strategies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for permanent, fixed-term and specialist hires across multiple business areas.
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Reduce agency dependency through proactive direct sourcing initiatives.
  • Deliver market intelligence, salary benchmarking and recruitment insights.
  • Design and implement effective selection and assessment methodologies.
  • Drive employer branding and talent attraction campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage recruitment suppliers, agencies and technology partners.
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, quality-of-hire and hiring costs.
  • Ensure recruitment activities remain compliant with employment legislation and hiring best practice.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience leading recruitment and talent acquisition programmes in a complex organisation.
  • A proven track record of hiring across corporate, technical and specialist functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience developing direct sourcing and talent pipeline strategies.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and talent market trends.
  • A data-driven approach to recruitment performance and decision making.
  • Experience managing recruitment agencies and external suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and recruitment compliance.
  • Confidence working within a fast-paced, changing environment.
