Role Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bromwich, responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation. This role involves:
- Partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements
- Creating inclusive job descriptions
- Managing job postings
- Sourcing candidates through multiple channels
- Screening applications
- Conducting initial interviews
- Coordinating interview processes
- Supporting offer negotiations and onboarding

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Maintaining accurate recruitment data
- Building talent pipelines for care and support roles
- Ensuring compliance with safer recruitment and sector regulations
- Promoting Select Lifestyles Ltd’s employer brand in the local community
- Reviewing recruitment processes for continuous improvement
- Collaborating with HR to support workforce planning and retention initiatives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR, ideally within health, social care, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and timelines.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and job boards, as well as professional networking platforms.
- Knowledge of safer recruitment practices, employment law basics, and relevant care sector regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with hiring managers and external partners.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accurate documentation.
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies, employer branding initiatives, and talent pipeline plans.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring fair and non-discriminatory recruitment processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools, including email, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Previous people management or team leadership experience in recruitment or HR is an advantage.
- Understanding of the needs of adults with learning difficulties and a values-based approach to care is highly beneficial.
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
