What to Expect

As our Talent Acquisition Operations Partner, you’ll be at the heart of how Talent Acquisition operates at McLaren.

Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and wider TA team, you’ll create the operational infrastructure, insight and discipline that enables our Talent Acquisition Partners to operate as true strategic partners to the business.

You’ll lead projects and initiatives that continuously evolve our TA function, spanning technology and transformation, operational excellence, data and insights, governance and process optimisation.

This is an opportunity to challenge how we work today and help shape what comes next. You’ll bring greater visibility to recruitment activity, turn data into meaningful insight and create simpler, smarter and more consistent ways of working, helping us build a world-class Talent Acquisition function that is efficient, innovative and invaluable to the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Own the operational rhythm of Talent Acquisition, establishing clear priorities, routines, controls and service standards.
  • Own our TA reporting and insights, covering hiring progress, requisition ageing, time to hire, pipeline health, interview activity, offers, agency usage, candidate flow and Hiring Manager actions.
  • Translate recruitment data into clear insights, risks, recommendations and actions for TA leadership and governance forums.
  • Drive ATS and data integrity, improving system adoption, data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation projects, identifying inefficient or inconsistent ways of working and implementing practical solutions.
  • Strengthen recruitment processes and governance across requisition approval, candidate management, selection, interviews, offers, right-to-work requirements and onboarding handoffs.
  • Coordinate activity across TA Partners, the TA Coordinator, Hiring Managers, HR and other stakeholders, removing operational blockers and ensuring effective handoffs.
  • Support recruitment planning for campaigns, high-volume activity, Early Careers and business-critical hiring.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
