Job Opportunity: Talent Acquisition Partner
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract, to join our team in Cambridge.
Role Overview
In this role, you will embed directly within key business functions:
- Building strategic partnerships with hiring managers
- Driving data-informed recruitment strategies across the UK and US markets
- Taking true ownership of scaling our high-performing global teams
What’s the Opportunity?
- Take ownership of full 360 recruitment strategies across the UK and US, driving cross-functional growth across technical and commercial business areas.
- Embed deeply within internal teams as a trusted advisor, partnering directly with hiring managers to understand their underlying talent needs and solve hiring challenges.
- Champion a proactive, data-driven approach to recruitment, using market insights and pipeline analytics to optimise hiring SLAs and continuously refine our processes.
- Deliver high strategic impact within a rapidly growing, award-winning scale-up that prioritises an exceptional candidate experience, high hiring standards, and meaningful autonomy.

What You’ll Achieve
- Proactively source, headhunt, and build robust talent pools for complex and hard-to-fill roles across multiple international markets.
- Own the candidate journey end-to-end, acting as a Gearset brand ambassador to deliver a personalised, engaging, and high-touch hiring experience.
- Analyse and report on recruitment metrics and candidate feedback to identify process improvements and maintain pipeline efficiency.
- Coach and up-skill hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate assessment, and best recruitment practices to uphold our high hiring bar.
- Collaborate closely with the wider People team and internal stakeholders to drive proactive talent acquisition initiatives aligned with long-term company goals.
- Leverage our ATS, Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter to drive active talent sourcing, employer branding, and candidate engagement strategies.
About You
- Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment within a fast-paced technology or B2B SaaS environment, with strong direct sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust-based partnerships with hiring managers and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting recruitment metrics to guide decision-making and improve pipeline efficiency.
- Proactive, candidate-first approach, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills that simplify complex information and build authentic relationships.
- Collaborative and adaptable working style, with the initiative to tackle challenging roles and navigate shifting hiring priorities in a growing company.

- Experience sourcing across both technical engineering and commercial go-to-market disciplines within an international scale-up.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary is up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
- This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday with the option of flexible home working (for most of us that looks like 2-3 days a week in the office)
