Salary: £50,000-£65,000 per year (depending on experience)

Reports to: VP of People & Culture
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced recruitment professional to join our People & Culture team on a six-month fixed-term contract.
You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of business functions, including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Technology and Corporate Services.
Working closely with senior leaders and hiring managers, you’ll help shape hiring requirements, build strong talent pipelines and attract the talent Aareon needs to support our continued growth.
Alongside recruitment delivery, you’ll also contribute to key talent acquisition projects, helping us strengthen our hiring approach, candidate experience and recruitment capability.
Key Responsibilities
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand business needs, define role requirements and agree effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide recruitment expertise, insight and constructive challenge to support high-quality hiring decisions.
- Support managers with interview structure, assessment approaches and recruitment best practice.

Talent Attraction & Sourcing
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks and talent pools.
- Build strong talent pipelines for current and future vacancies, taking a creative and resourceful approach to harder-to-fill roles.
- Create engaging job adverts and candidate outreach that reflect Aareon’s employer brand and help us attract the right talent.
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage recruitment from approved vacancy through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Conduct screening calls, shortlist candidates and manage progression throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers and recruitment administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Drive pace and accountability throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely feedback, clear communication and effective hiring decisions.
Candidate Experience & Inclusive Hiring
- Deliver a consistently high-quality candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment journey.
- Promote inclusive and engaging recruitment practices.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the quality and diversity of our talent pipelines.
Recruitment Operations & Improvement
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and requisitions within Workday.
- Monitor recruitment activity, pipelines and key hiring metrics, providing clear updates and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, technology, efficiency and time-to-hire.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous in-house recruitment experience within a fast-paced, growing or scaling organisation, ideally with experience within SaaS, technology or B2B organisations.
- Comfortable managing multiple vacancies at once and recruiting across a range of functions, levels and business areas.
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring managers, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
- Strong direct sourcing experience, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant sourcing channels.
- A strong track record of creating a high-quality candidate experience that reflects the company’s culture and values at every stage of the hiring journey.
- A data-driven mindset, comfortable using recruitment metrics and insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes and report progress and insights to senior leaders.
- Highly organised, with strong communication and relationship-building skills across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset across recruitment processes, candidate experience and ways of working.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology to support an efficient and effective hiring process.

You are comfortable sourcing candidates directly rather than relying solely on applications, and you enjoy partnering with hiring managers to solve recruitment challenges. You have a strong sense of ownership, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by finding the right person for the role. You are adaptable in your approach, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholder styles, functions and levels of seniority.
