About the role

We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our UK Office Talent Acquisition team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Supporting a diverse portfolio of functions across the business, you'll act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers and business leaders, delivering high-quality recruitment solutions across a range of professional and specialist roles.

You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, developing sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, and providing expert market insight to support hiring decisions. Passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, you'll champion Tesco's brand and values throughout the recruitment journey.

  • Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary.

You will be responsible for

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from briefing and sourcing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, providing expert recruitment advice and challenge where appropriate.
  • Developing and delivering sourcing strategies that attract high-quality and diverse talent.
  • Direct sourcing and headhunting candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels, reducing reliance on agencies.
  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Using recruitment data and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Managing multiple vacancies simultaneously while ensuring an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, People teams and external partners to deliver successful hiring outcomes.
  • Supporting TA projects and initiatives that improve attraction, sourcing, processes and the overall hiring experience.

You will need

  • Significant in-house or agency recruitment experience, ideally within a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience of direct sourcing, talent mapping and headhunting using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate management skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding candidate and hiring manager experiences.

Desirable

  • Experience recruiting across professional functions within a large corporate environment.
  • Previous experience within retail or customer-focused organisations.
  • Familiarity with Avature or similar ATS platforms.
  • Experience supporting DE&I-focused recruitment initiatives and sourcing strategies.
