About The Company

PA Media Group has established itself as a trusted leader in news, data, and content for over 150 years. Our rich history is complemented by our commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information to audiences across the UK and internationally. Alongside our renowned news agency, we operate a diverse portfolio of specialist businesses that offer innovative content, technology, and creative solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in everything we do, fostering a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration thrive.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes satisfaction in delivering high-quality hires. As a key member of our recruitment function, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns across multiple business areas. Your primary focus will be on sourcing, screening, and presenting well-matched candidates, ensuring hiring managers receive a strong shortlist of suitable applicants rather than a high volume of unqualified resumes. The role demands proactive sourcing, excellent candidate management, and the ability to coordinate multiple vacancies simultaneously, all while maintaining a positive candidate experience and ensuring recruitment processes are efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an in-house recruiter with experience managing multiple professional or corporate roles. You should possess strong sourcing skills, particularly with LinkedIn Recruiter and other proactive search techniques, to identify high-caliber talent. Your judgment in screening and assessing candidates must be sound, with a history of presenting compelling shortlists that lead to successful placements. You will demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, working collaboratively with hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine searches accordingly. Organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities. A proactive, self-starting attitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are key attributes for success in this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
