We offer services ranging from private high voltage connections and maintenance to multiple new connections across Electricity, Gas, Telecoms, Water and EV Charging. The Role
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for developing and delivering the company's recruitment and talent pipeline strategy. The role has been created to support and help accelerate the growth of the business; attracting and recruiting high-quality technical, commercial and administrative talent in a highly competitive market.
The role will support the move of recruitment from a reactive, vacancy-led activity to a proactive talent acquisition capability that supports both immediate hiring needs and the long-term growth ambitions of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Own and coordinate all recruitment activity across the business.
- Build talent pipelines for critical roles including Project Managers, Tendering Engineers, Technical Sales, Design Engineers, Administration: building relationships with prospective candidates and industry networks.
- Reduce dependency on recruitment agencies and associated costs.

- Develop and promote the company's employer brand.
- Position the business as an employer of choice within the utilities and infrastructure sector.
Graduate & Apprentice Programmes
- Support Graduate and Apprentice recruitment programmes.
- Develop relationships with universities, colleges and training providers.
Success Measures
- Reduced time to fill vacancies.

Experience & Qualities
Essential Experience
- Experience in internal recruitment, external recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and managing multiple vacancies.
- Demonstrable skillset using LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems.
Essential Qualities
- Proactive, resilient and commercially minded.
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing SME environment.
Desirable Experience
- Utilities, infrastructure, engineering or construction sector recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of the UK electricity connections market (ICP, IDNO or DNO).
- Experience of Graduate and/or Apprentice programmes.
- Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing.

Perks & Commitments
- Permanent role.
- Working Hours: The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. We are particularly interested in part-time candidates who can commit to five days per week on reduced, fixed daily hours, recognising the importance of maintaining visibility and stakeholder engagement across the business.
- Willingness to engage with applicants outside of core working hours, recognising the importance of corresponding with applicants when they are available to engage.
- This is a fully office-based role with limited hybrid working arrangements.
- 25 days holiday (pro-rata) + bank holidays as standard.
- Extra day off for birthday.
