About The Job

Working within The People Team

We are looking for a proactive, candidate-focused Talent Acquisition Partner to join our People Team on an initial 6-month FTC.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind how we attract, engage, and hire top talent across Haymarket Media Group. Working closely with Hiring Managers and People Partners, you will help streamline our recruitment processes, solve hiring challenges, and ensure every candidate experiences what makes Haymarket a brilliant place to work.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where no two days are the same. You will manage a diverse portfolio of requisitions across Editorial, Design, Marketing, Commercial, and Central Support functions.

Please note that screening interviews will take place between 12-14th August and we need this person to start in September 2026.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with Hiring Managers and People Partners to understand departmental hiring needs, advise on recruitment strategies, and deliver high-quality talent.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple open roles in Editorial, Design, Marketing, Commercial, and Corporate functions simultaneously.
  • Candidate Experience: Serve as an ambassador for Haymarket. Effortlessly build rapport with candidates, ensuring a positive, transparent, and engaging candidate journey from application to offer.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance candidate selection techniques.
  • Employer Branding: Help showcase Haymarket’s culture, values, and employee value proposition (EVP) throughout the recruitment pipeline to attract diverse and high-calibre talent.
  • Direct Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Use initiative and creative sourcing channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools, networks) to target active and passive candidates.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Navigate complex hiring challenges with a solution-oriented mindset and manage competing priorities across different business units effectively.

Key Relationships

Your key relationships internally include:

  • Hiring Managers across all divisions
  • The People and Comms Team
  • The finance team

Externally it will be:

  • Candidates
  • Job board vendors
  • University/apprenticeship networks

About You

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

  • Experienced Recruiter: Proven track record in an in-house or agency recruitment role, ideally with exposure to creative, commercial, or corporate hiring environments.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build instant rapport with candidates.
  • Proactive & Results-Driven: High level of initiative, self-motivation, and a "can-do" attitude when tackling tough-to-fill roles or tight deadlines.
  • Multitasker & Problem Solver: Thrives under pressure, loves a challenge, and easily manages multiple open requisitions simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • Collaborative Partner: Team player who works seamlessly alongside People Partners and wider People team to deliver an integrated recruitment service.

How will success in this role typically be measured?

  • Seamless Stakeholder Alignment: You have established strong, consultative partnerships with Hiring Managers and People Partners, becoming their trusted point of contact for resourcing.
  • Streamlined Recruitment Processes: You have reviewed existing recruitment workflows, identified bottlenecks, and introduced efficiencies that improve time-to-hire and candidate quality.
  • Exceptional Candidate Journey: Candidates consistently report a warm, engaging, and professional experience throughout their application process, actively reinforcing Haymarket as a great place to work.
  • High-Quality Hires Delivered: You have successfully sourced, managed, and closed key requisitions across our departments within agreed timeframes.
  • Proactive Talent Pools: You have built active talent pipelines through referrals, direct sourcing, and creative attraction strategies.
