ROLE PURPOSE
The Talent Acquisition Partner will ensure we attract the right talent to Oak Furnitureland across volume roles and experienced hires, working closely with their colleagues in the Talent Acquisition team.
Partnering with hiring managers they will manage a portfolio of vacancies, sourcing internal and external candidates to fill current roles in a cost effective and timely manner, whilst building a pipeline of candidates for future requirements and ensuring an engaging candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Partner will promote the TA team within the business, so it is seen as a well- respected Centre of Excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Hold end-to-end recruitment ownership for a dedicated business area, while driving direct sourcing initiatives across all functional areas supported by the TA team.
- Partnering and building effective relationships with stakeholders to fully understand their Resourcing requirements and ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent.
- Manage the candidate experience to create a positive and engaging proposition for current and potential employees.
- Developing cost effective campaigns and copywriting adverts in line with the Employer Brand.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of information related to candidates and requisitions using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Contribute to and deliver key Talent Acquisition projects as defined and directed by the TA Manager.
- Continually strive to improve the level of service provided by the Talent Acquisition Team to all stakeholders, from hiring managers to candidates and suppliers.
- Organise and administer selection processes including, screening, telephone interviews, and setting up first and second stage interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the offer process and liaise with HRS to ensure a smooth handover of the onboarding process.
- Maintain knowledge of best practice approaches and industry trends within recruitment and direct sourcing.
- Developing own networks for sourcing and employer branding building within the Retail industry.
- Advising and supporting hiring managers on best practice for interviews and assessment.
- Offer a creative approach to sourcing great talent for the Talent Acquisition Team – focusing on attracting passive candidates to roles, talent pooling and building communities.
- Developing the reputation of TA as a Centre of Excellence within HR and the wider business.

Skills And Experience
- Demonstrable recruitment experience either in-house or within an agency environment.
- Understanding of creating Brand awareness as an employer of choice.
- Experience of resourcing for a wide range of different roles from volume to experienced hires preferably within the Retail industry.
- Experience of using a wide range of attraction channels and technology for sourcing.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Experienced using direct sourcing methods using Boolean searches and LinkedIn recruiter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – to be able to communicate with both internal and external customers effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines either independently or as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail including actively seeking out problems and finding solutions.
- Has a positive approach to work with a flexible can-do attitude; with drive and enthusiasm to improve the calibre of colleagues within the business.
