Role Overview
To achieve our ambitious growth plans we need to recruit the very best and at pace. As part of the MARCH Talent Acquisition Team, you will ensure that we attract, hire and onboard Talent that matches and delivers on our Group objectives, now and in the longer-term.
The successful candidate will have a track record recruiting multiple roles across varied customers, demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and translate a clear understanding of the business, and its requirements, into actionable recruitment plans which you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of.
This role is hybrid, ideally working from our Northwest offices with national travel as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a volume, multi-discipline workload spanning various divisions/functions.
- Qualify resource requirements with hiring managers and convert them into tailored recruitment plans that deliver at pace.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment against clear goals for time to hire, shortlist quality and direct sourcing, backed by proactive communication, commercial awareness and delivery commitment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, use market and candidate insight to inform and agree best approach for hiring and best practice ways of working.
- Understand MARCH’s capability and market position to develop a compelling pitch, engaging active and passive candidates, using your knowledge to ensure an excellent CV to hire ratio.
- Ensure approval and commercial processes are adhered to, supporting hiring managers as needed.
- Continually challenge how we recruit, bring new ideas, channels and sourcing approaches that work around an in-demand candidate market, reduce reliance on agency spend and promote MARCH as an employer of choice.
- Identify the right attraction route for each role such as: job boards, careers site, social and professional networks, finding ways round geographical and skills-scarcity challenges.
- Use recruitment data to report progress accurately, inform decisions and look for improvement.
- Support onboarding requirements to ensure a smooth process and positive candidate experience.
- Manage agency use and liaise with approved recruitment partners (where required), ensuring they have all the relevant information to be successful in the hiring process.
- Travel to national locations to support recruitment activities and site engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
