Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across all business areas — from briefing through to signed offer and onboarding handover.
  • Build high-quality pipelines through proactive sourcing, headhunting, and talent mapping — not waiting for inbound.
  • Design and embed structured hiring processes, including scorecards, interview rubrics, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Coach hiring managers to become disciplined, data-led, and inclusive interviewers.
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and campaigns, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Track, analyse, and act on funnel data, improving conversion rates and reducing time-to-hire.

  • Manage our ATS and tooling, ensuring workflows are efficient and data is reliable.
  • Champion DE&I throughout every hiring touchpoint — from outreach to assessment.
  • Continuously raise the hiring bar, challenging bias, shortcut thinking, and 'good enough' mindsets.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of in-house recruitment experience, ideally within high-growth, fast-moving companies.
  • Demonstrated success hiring across multiple domains — including Strategy, Commercial, Ops, Tech, and People.
  • Outstanding sourcing ability — fluent in Boolean, open web, market mapping, and passive engagement.
  • Proven track record of filling senior, niche, and confidential roles with creativity and rigour.
  • Deep believer in structured hiring, behavioural interviewing, and scorecard-based decision-making.
  • Strategic partner to the business — able to push back, challenge thinking, and guide hiring decisions.
  • Highly organised operator with strong prioritisation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator — credible with execs, trusted by candidates.
  • Technically fluent — comfortable owning ATS, HRIS, and data tooling.
  • Obsessed with candidate experience, brand reputation, and raising standards.
