About Us
Established in 2007, Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) has grown year on year, expanding into new and exciting industries. It’s this growth and ambition that sees us as an industry leader within Fire Safety, Electrical Services, Water Treatment & Building Access.
Why are we hiring?
In June 2025 we began our journey as an In-house recruitment team, in just over 12 months we have developed our team, processes, systems and tools to not just deliver, but exceed our initial objectives. So much so that we're finalists for not just 1 but 4 awards at this year's In-house Recruitment awards. This coupled with PTSG's continued growth and acquisitions sees us needing to add a further Talent Acquisition Partner to our already amazing team. This is where you come in...
With a focus on working the PTSG way and an aim for less reliance on external support we’re looking to expand the team with an additional experienced and capable Talent Acquisition Partner. We’re not just looking for a good recruiters but trusted business partners who’ll be an integral part of PTSG’s future success and ability to deliver for our customers.
Our mission
Embedding new ways of working isn’t easy so you’ll need to quickly learn and understand your internal customers while building credibility with your stakeholders. You’ll be given autonomy and freedom to manage your business area, while working collaboratively with the wider TA and HR team.
As with any successful TA role, the key is building strong relationships and communication. Luckily the people you’ll be working with and supporting are ready for change and looking forward to partnering with someone internally whose motivations and goals align with theirs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A little more info:
PTSG is rapidly growing, this year alone we have acquired a further 6 companies and we expect this level of growth to continue throughout 2026/27. We currently operate as a team of 9, with a mix of divisional and business focused TAP's. PTSG can be a complex business and will require the successful candidates to be able to quickly switch between different vacancies and industries. You will need to be able to adapt as you could be screening for a finance role one minute, the next it could be for a field based engineer or a sales role. We're looking for all rounders, experienced recruiters that understand the principles for recruitment remain the same regardless.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of high-volume blue-collar hiring (100-200 hires annually)
- In-house TA experience but exceptional agency recruiters will be considered (as long as you can articulate the difference between in-house and agency recruitment)
- Strong direct sourcing capability
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders in the right way
- Our ATS is TeamTailor so experience of that would be an advantage
- Keen interest in technology and advancements in TA
- Confident with data, analytics and reporting

- Ability to develop and deliver creative but practical hiring solutions
- Great at writing engaging job adverts and social media content
- A genuine passion for hiring talent and pride in the quality of service you provide

It was formed in 2007 with a handful of people and a vision to deliver the full range of specialist building services from ‘under one roof’. After almost 17 years of successive growth, that vision has been achieved.
The Group’s five business divisions operate independently or combine to deliver a complete solution including: façade access and fall arrest equipment, lightning protection and electrical compliance, high-level services, fire solutions and water treatment.
