Hawkwood are partnering with one of the fastest-growing AI scale-ups building AI-native tools for finance, backed by more than $300m in funding and valued at approximately $2bn.
With investment from Sequoia and some of the world’s leading financial institutions, the company has built significant momentum in the US, with its AI platform now being used by some of the most sophisticated organisations across investment banking, private equity and asset management.
Following this rapid growth, the business is now entering its next phase of international expansion, investing heavily in London and Europe and building out the teams that will establish its presence across the region.
As part of this growth, they are looking for an experienced GTM Recruiter to take ownership of hiring across their rapidly expanding commercial organisation.
This is a particularly exciting recruiting challenge. You’ll be responsible for identifying and attracting exceptional GTM talent as the company builds its commercial organisation in a new region. Working closely with newly appointed GTM leaders, you’ll play a central role in shaping the team from the ground up, from defining and mapping the talent they need to building the processes and hiring strategy that will support the organisation as it scales.
What you'll do:
- Own end-to-end recruitment across the growing GTM organisation, with a particular focus on building high-performing Sales teams across London and Europe.
- Partner closely with GTM leadership to understand hiring priorities, define what great talent looks like and build strong pipelines across the market.
- Identify, engage and assess exceptional GTM talent, delivering a high-quality candidate experience from first conversation through to offer.
- Manage hiring processes with pace and precision, keeping candidates and stakeholders engaged and ensuring processes continue to move forward.
- Use data and market insight to understand pipeline health, identify gaps and advise hiring leaders on where to adjust their approach.
- Help shape how the company hires as it scales, identifying opportunities to improve processes and build more effective, scalable recruiting infrastructure.
- Play a central role in establishing the GTM organisation in a new region, working alongside new leaders to build the teams and hiring foundations that support its next phase of growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll bring:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record of hiring GTM talent within high-growth technology companies.
- Meaningful experience hiring high-performing Account Executives across strategic, enterprise and mid-market sales, alongside broader GTM roles.
- A strong understanding of what great sales talent looks like, with the ability to assess performance, quota attainment, deal complexity and the environments in which someone has been successful.
- Excellent proactive sourcing and market-mapping capability, with a track record of identifying and engaging high-performing commercial talent who may not be actively looking to move.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the credibility to engage experienced sales professionals and represent a compelling opportunity in a competitive talent market.
- Commercial judgement and the confidence to partner with senior GTM leaders, challenge assumptions and help shape hiring profiles rather than simply execute against a brief.
- The ability to operate with both search-level rigour and start-up pace, managing multiple searches without compromising the quality of talent or candidate experience.
- High agency and genuine comfort with ambiguity. You’ll be joining an international organisation that is still being built, so priorities will evolve and there won’t always be an established process to follow.
- Intellectual curiosity around AI and technology, with the ability to quickly understand the product, market and customer in order to credibly engage exceptional GTM talent.
