Help us find the talent behind our next stage of growth
UBDS is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our highly skilled and experienced team at an exciting stage of growth.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll understand the technology and consulting talent markets, know how to find and engage great people, build strong relationships with hiring managers and confidently bring the UBDS story to life for candidates.
Your core focus will be technical recruitment across areas such as Cloud (AWS and Azure), Data, Cyber Security, AI and Test Engineering, recruiting at all levels from early careers through to experienced specialists and senior appointments.
You’ll also support hiring across our wider consulting capabilities, including Project & Programme Management, Business Analysis and Change Management, as well as functions such as Finance, Commercial and Business Operations.
What you’ll be doing
This isn’t a role that relies on applications landing in an inbox. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the market, finding great people and starting conversations.
You’ll:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across Cloud, Data, Cyber Security, AI, Test Engineering and other technical vacancies
- Recruit across all levels, from graduates and early careers to senior specialists and leadership appointments
- Support recruitment across our wider consulting and business functions

- Build proactive talent pipelines for immediate vacancies and future capability requirements
- Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, refine briefs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Provide insight on the external talent market, candidate availability, expectations and remuneration
- Guide candidates through the interview, assessment and offer process, keeping them informed, prepared and engaged
- Manage multiple priorities and fast-moving deadlines without compromising candidate experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment activity within our ATS, experience with Workable would be highly desirable
- Use recruitment data and market insight to continuously improve how we attract and recruit talent

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience recruiting within a technology consultancy, professional services and/or UK public sector environment
- Experience recruiting from early careers through to senior and specialist appointments
- A strong understanding of the UK security-cleared talent market, with experience finding and engaging cleared candidates
- Excellent sourcing skills, including strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and engaging passive talent
- The ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective searches
- Experience building talent pipelines for specialist and difficult-to-fill roles
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders
- Excellent candidate management skills, from initial engagement through interview, offer and acceptance
- The ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience

What you’ll bring to UBDS
You’ll be someone who enjoys the search, understanding a requirement, mapping the market, finding people others might not find and creating conversations with talented individuals.
You’ll be comfortable engaging everyone from an early-career candidate to an experienced engineer, senior technology specialist or business leader.
Just as importantly, you’ll be a relationship builder and storyteller. You’ll build trusted relationships across UBDS and be able to articulate who we are, what we do, our ambitions and why talented people should want to join us.
For many candidates, you’ll be their first interaction with UBDS. You’ll make sure that experience reflects the quality of our organisation, even when working at pace.
