Job Description: Talent Acquisition Recruiter
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter based in United Kingdom.
As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in supporting rapid growth by owning recruitment activities from sourcing through onboarding. You’ll identify and engage high-quality candidates across global talent markets, with a particular focus on technical and IT-related profiles. You’ll manage candidate pipelines, conduct structured screenings, and ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Working closely with hiring managers, you’ll help define hiring needs and build targeted recruitment strategies. The role offers significant autonomy in a fully remote environment, with the opportunity to use modern sourcing tools and recruiting technologies. Your ability to build strong talent pipelines will have a direct impact on the organization’s ability to scale its workforce effectively.
Accountabilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, from identifying and sourcing candidates through screening, interview coordination, offer presentation, and onboarding.
- Proactively source and engage qualified talent through job boards, professional networks, social platforms, technical communities, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines, including converting passive prospects into active candidates.
- Conduct structured initial interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, technical backgrounds, communication skills, and overall suitability for available roles.
- Coordinate the hiring process efficiently, ensuring candidates move smoothly through each stage of the recruitment funnel.
- Support onboarding by coordinating required documentation, equipment arrangements, orientation schedules, and other pre-employment activities.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, refine candidate profiles, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and maintain accurate candidate information throughout the hiring process.
- Use recruiting platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and sourcing tools effectively to manage recruitment activity and optimize hiring workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
