Oakleaf is supporting a fast-growing, international business in the specialty insurance sector as they expand their in-house talent capability. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded researcher or recruitment professional to play a key role in shaping hiring strategy across broking and underwriting markets.
What you'll do
- Lead or support market mapping, talent research, and competitor analysis across specialty insurance
- Build target lists and detailed candidate insights for senior and niche hires
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to support end-to-end hiring activity
- Produce clear, high-impact market intelligence for senior stakeholders
- Track and maintain candidate pipelines and market data
- Stay ahead of industry trends, appointments, and talent movements

What we're looking for
- Background in executive search research or recruitment with strong direct sourcing experience
- Proven expertise in market mapping and talent intelligence
- Active knowledge and network within specialty insurance (broking and/or underwriting essential)
- Experience operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insight-led analysis
