Role summary

This is an opportunity to join CMS's Experienced Hire team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract supporting recruitment across our UK and international offices. Working closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues and recruitment partners, you'll manage end-to-end hiring activity for both fee-earner and professional services roles. The role offers variety, stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a Future Facing organisation.

Location: Bristol, Sheffield, Manchester or Edinburgh

Working pattern: Hybrid working available.

What you'll do

As part of the Experienced Hire team, you will:

  • Manage recruitment activity for fee-earner and professional services vacancies across the UK and internationally.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create role profiles and recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure recruitment approvals and governance processes are completed appropriately.
  • Source candidates directly and work with preferred recruitment suppliers and specialist agencies where required.
  • Build effective relationships with agency partners and monitor performance against agreed service levels.
  • Work closely with Recruitment Administration colleagues to ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience.
  • Conduct telephone, virtual and face-to-face interviews and support hiring managers with interview best practice.
  • Liaise with HR Business Partners throughout the offer process, including approvals, salary benchmarking and offer preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
  • Coordinate start dates and onboarding activity with hiring teams and candidates.
  • Review and record documentation in line with immigration and right-to-work requirements.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Essential

  • Experience working in a recruitment or talent acquisition environment within a professional services organisation.
  • Direct sourcing and interviewing experience.
  • A good understanding of employment legislation, including equality, diversity and immigration requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Knowledge of good employment practices and recruitment processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deliver a high level of service to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Take a proactive and solution-focused approach to your work.
