- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 + super
About the Role
Our Talent Acquisition Team is currently seeking to appoint 2 x temporary Talent Acquisition Specialists until 24 December 2026. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end recruitment services across DCCEEW, supporting large-scale and high-volume recruitment campaigns.
Working within a collaborative and customer-focused team, you will partner with hiring managers to provide expert advice on recruitment strategies, candidate assessment, talent pooling and workforce resourcing solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant recruitment program while supporting the department's diverse workforce needs across climate change, energy, environment and water portfolios.
About You
- Previous experience delivering end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume or bulk recruitment environment.
- Strong knowledge of NSW Government recruitment practices, including the Government Sector Employment (GSE) Act and capability-based recruitment principles.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to provide recruitment advice, workforce planning support and best-practice resourcing solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines and service level expectations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and guide managers through fair and transparent recruitment processes.
- Experience with candidate attraction strategies, advertising campaigns, screening and assessment methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex recruitment information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate recruitment records and reporting.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to identify process improvements and contribute to team success.
- Experience working within a government environment and familiarity with NSW Public Sector policies and frameworks will be highly regarded.
