About us
We build legal drafting technology for moments that matter - when the stakes are high, the documents are complex, and speed can't come at the cost of control.
Our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation, collaboration, and AI - without taking judgment away from the lawyers who own the risk. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it.
Avvoka is trusted by leading law firms, banks, and global enterprises, and we've grown through product strength and word of mouth alone. With headcount and revenue increasing by over 70% year on year, we're scaling from a product-led success into a globally recognized legal-tech brand.
We're at an inflection point: evolving how the world's most sophisticated legal teams work - and building the team that gets us there.
The role
You'll own hiring at Avvoka end to end - every function across four countries (US, UK, Czech Republic, and the Philippines). We'll work together on the headcount plan, and then it's over to you to execute it (with the wider People Teams support). You'll own everything from intakes, sourcing, engaging, interviews, and offer negotiations - the full end-to-end Recruitment lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

There will be a particular focus on building talent communities in the Philippines for Ruby Engineers (backend) and ongoing Account Executive hiring in the legal-tech space. The dream scenario is we've filled the hiring plan and can proactively search for the best talent in the market, continuously adding exceptional talent to the team. I appreciate the combination of Sales and Engineering hiring in particular is niche, so the only ask is you specialize in one already, and are willing to learn the other.
We're a Series A so we won't have unlimited budgets for tooling, a huge employer brand for you to leverage, or a ton of established process. There's a lot of building to be done, alongside driving impact, but we do it as one team working together.
What you'll do
- Own the search
- Run hiring end to end - intake, sourcing, assessment, offer - across the UK, US, Czech Republic, and the Philippines
- Headhunt directly for backend (Ruby) engineers and Account Executives, our two highest-volume and hardest-to-fill profiles alongside executing the wider headcount plan
- Build and keep warm a pipeline of target profiles, so we're the call they take when they're ready to move
