Technical Talent Acquisition Partner

We’re looking for experienced Talent Acquisition professionals / technical recruiters to join a specialist talent team supporting some of the most innovative engineering and technology businesses in the market.

This is a delivery-focused Talent Acquisition role for experienced technical recruiters with strong headhunting capability. You must have proven recruitment experience in at least one of the sectors or technical skill areas listed below, along with a track record of proactively sourcing and engaging difficult-to-find, passive talent. We are specifically looking for recruiters who understand technical, engineering or scientific markets and can demonstrate credible experience recruiting within them.

  • Aerospace, Defence & Space – defence technology, autonomous systems, aerospace, satellites and space technology
  • Artificial Intelligence – AI labs, AI-native businesses, Applied AI, Physical AI / robotics and AI for Science
  • Robotics & Autonomous Systems – robotics, drones/UAVs, autonomy, computer vision and intelligent systems
  • Advanced Manufacturing – manufacturing engineering, industrial automation and complex hardware
  • Semiconductors & Electronics – chip design, hardware, embedded systems and electronics
  • Energy & Electrification – batteries, energy storage, nuclear, renewables and next-generation energy technologies
  • Critical Infrastructure – data centres, power, cooling and associated infrastructure
  • Life Sciences / Pharma – particularly businesses with a strong AI, data, scientific or technical engineering focus

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing recruitment delivery across specialist technical vacancies
  • Working closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand complex requirements
  • Proactively headhunting and engaging passive candidates
  • Building specialist talent pipelines within highly competitive markets
  • Advising stakeholders on candidate availability, attraction strategy and market conditions
  • Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Delivering a high-quality candidate and client experience
  • Operating as a genuine talent partner rather than simply working vacancies transactionally

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience within recruitment or Talent Acquisition
  • Strong experience recruiting within a technical, engineering, scientific or technology-led environment
  • Proven headhunting and passive sourcing capability
  • Confidence recruiting genuinely hard-to-find talent
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into an effective search strategy
  • Comfortable managing multiple vacancies and priorities
  • Commercially aware, credible and confident working autonomously

The sweet spot?

Recruiters who have worked in technical environments where the best candidates are not actively applying. You should be comfortable mapping markets, approaching passive talent, understanding complex technical requirements and building credibility with both candidates and senior stakeholders.
