Talent Acquisition Specialist Pitstone/ Gloucester/ Wolverhampton/ Cwmbran Hybrid (On-site requirement of at least one day per week)

Your Role

Our Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for delivering strategic, high-quality hiring solutions that build exceptional teams and strengthen Safran's position as an employer of choice. Focused on specific job families, Talent Acquisition Specialists support all Safran businesses in the UK and are positioned as experts in their designated job family.

By partnering with business leaders, optimizing recruitment processes, and championing candidate experience, these roles ensure Safran attracts, engages, and retains top talent to fuel innovation and growth across all UK sites.

This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will have a fixed base at one of our Pitstone/ Gloucester/ Wolverhampton / Cwmbran facilities, with an on-site requirement of at least one day per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and agree recruitment plans.
  • Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives
  • Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter, providing insights on market trends, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience enhancements
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions, reporting, and candidate communications
  • Apply Safran's equal opportunity principles and maintain compliance with all relevant standards

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an agency or in-house setting
  • Open on job type recruitment experience, but will ideally have worked/ recruited within technical engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence hiring decisions at all levels.
  • Efficient, with great organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects, and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, transparent, and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to use recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes and optimize processes.
