About HAYRA

Hayra is an AI-native hiring agency on a genuinely huge mission: we're building the future of how companies find, hire, and scale talent. Today that means two things working in balance — Talent Solutions (TaaS), our done-for-you hiring service on a flat monthly subscription instead of clunky placement fees, and the AI-powered app behind it, giving clients real-time visibility into their pipeline, candidates, and hiring data.

We're a service business looking to move into product — we're building towards a full self-service product for brand and web-app scaling, and by 2027 our ambition is to become the one-stop hiring marketplace: a single place where any company can find, vet, and hire the people they need, powered by AI, with Hayra's own hiring DNA baked in from day one. We're a small, scrappy, founder-led team building something big, and we move fast — this is a rare, ground-floor seat on a company that's about to change shape.

About the Role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us at a genuinely exciting point: we're scaling Talent Solutions while building the AI-native platform underneath it — the same platform we're betting will be a one-stop hiring marketplace by 2027. If you want to transition into tech and AI this could be for you…

You'll own sourcing and screening for a portfolio of client accounts — running sharp two-tier sourcing (headhunting + inbound), building talent pipelines straight into our platform, and handing our account managers shortlists so good that clients stop shopping around. Alongside that, you'll build something of your own: a real community of niche DTC and e-commerce talent that becomes a genuine asset for Hayra, not just a pipeline.

This is hands-on, high-ownership recruiting, not admin. You'll headhunt directly from competitors and comparable companies, write job ads people actually want to click, and build a network of candidates who stay warm long after their first conversation with us. Every lesson you learn about sourcing well doesn't just stay with you — it feeds straight into the product, meaning your day-to-day work is literally shaping the marketplace we're building towards. If you've been looking for a way into a tech, product, or AI-scaling business — somewhere you can actually build with tech and AI rather than just talk about it — this is about as close to the ground floor as it gets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Responsibilities:

At the core of this role is community: building and growing Hayra's own niche pool of DTC talent - the people you know personally, source directly, and bring together through events and in-person sessions, not just a database of CVs.

From there, it's running the engine that turns that community into hires:

  • Run two-tier sourcing for every live role - outbound headhunting from competitors and comparable companies, plus inbound via job ads, careers pages, and premium placements.
  • Screen and assess candidates against client-specific scorecards, building shortlists your account manager can take straight to clients.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with account managers, clients, and candidates.

You're also the storyteller behind each client's roles:

  • Develop best-in-class EVP and employer-brand assets that make our clients' roles impossible to ignore.
  • Write and publish job adverts in each client's own brand and voice.

And you're never sourcing in a silo, you're part of how we win and grow every account:

  • Join your account manager on client calls and strategy sessions, bringing a sourcing lens to the table.
  • Partner with your account manager to build the sourcing strategy for every client — the channels, the pitch, the plan to actually land great talent.

Behind the scenes, you keep the machine honest:

  • Keep candidate records, hiring progress, and pipeline data accurate and current in our platform.
  • Track market rates and salary benchmarks, flagging comp adjustments when a role's struggling to attract candidates.
  • Spot product inefficiencies and workflow gaps from what you see on the ground, and work with our Ops team to build the fix straight into the web app.
  • Help us hit our 42-day time-to-fill target, flagging early when a role's at risk of overrunning.

What Good Looks Like

6 Months:

  • You're not just settling in — you're already proving the model works, in both halves of the job.
  • You're fully ramped across multiple client accounts and comfortable running both sides of our two-tier sourcing model.
  • You've started building real relationships inside a niche DTC community — people who know you, not just a pipeline.
  • You're consistently delivering strong shortlists inside our 42-day time-to-fill target.

12 Months:

  • A year in, you're not just delivering — you're known for it.
  • You're a go-to headhunting specialist for a particular niche or vertical.
  • You've run or contributed to Hayra's first community events, turning contacts into a genuine talent network.
  • You're mentoring newer recruiters on process and platform.
  • You're helping build talent pipelines ahead of demand, not just reacting to live roles.
  • You're on track to become a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.

24 Months:

  • Two years in, you're not just doing the job — you're one of the people who built it.
  • You're leading a pod of recruiters, owning sourcing quality and output across a group of client accounts.
  • Your community is the thing clients ask for by name.
  • You've had a direct hand in shaping the sourcing engine behind our 2027 marketplace — not just the playbook, the actual product.
  • You're a recognised driver of the hire quality that keeps our clients renewing (and telling their friends).
  • You've outgrown everything you've sunk your teeth into and are now Head of Talent Acquisition!

Benefits

This isn't a role with a generic perks page bolted on — here's what's actually on the table:

  • Join a small, fast paced, founder-led team building something genuinely big — not just another agency.
  • Unlimited holiday policy, no need to stress about being well rested.
  • A front-row seat (and real influence) on the AI-native platform we're building towards a 2027 hiring marketplace.
  • Serious, fast progression as Hayra scales — we promote on impact, not tenure.
  • Hybrid remote working, with real in-person meetups and community events built into the job, not just the odd social.
  • Annual bonus scheme based on personal and company performance.
  • 30 day work abroad scheme (Be anywhere in the world)
  • Hands-on access to Hayra's own AI hiring platform and the newest recruitment tech, while it's still being built.
  • Personal development budget for courses, certifications, and training.
  • Wellness allowance (gym memberships, running apps, etc.).
  • A high-ownership, high-energy environment where your fingerprints end up on the product, not just your job description.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, why not try out your new platform and apply through HAYRA…
