Why join Marshall Land Systems in this role:
This is a dynamic, hands-on recruitment delivery role, joining us at a particularly busy time. It will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and recruiting across a wide variety of roles and levels throughout the organisation.
Joining us on a 6-month fixed-term contract, you'll support the team through a busy period of recruitment, working across engineering, technical, and volume hiring. You'll speak to a high volume of candidates, manage multiple vacancies, and work closely with hiring managers to keep recruitment moving.
You'll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities, working at pace, and influencing and challenging stakeholders when needed. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys recruitment, thrives on being busy, and is ready to make an immediate contribution from day one.
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment across technical, specialist, volume, and early careers hiring, from initial briefing through to offer.
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted Talent Acquisition adviser, providing recruitment expertise, market insight, and constructive challenge to support effective hiring decisions.
- Support with the interviewing and selection process through recruitment screening and qualifying candidates.
- Design and deliver recruitment campaigns and assessment processes that are engaging, effective, fair, and tailored to different roles, levels, and functions.
- Work closely with our RPO partner, supporting the day-to-day relationship, service delivery, and alignment with business requirements.
- Champion an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, ensuring our recruitment processes are engaging, inclusive, consistent, and well communicated.
- Support and coach hiring managers through our hiring skills initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activity is compliant and well governed, including right-to-work, visa, and IR35 considerations where relevant.
- Identify opportunities to improve how we recruit, helping us streamline processes, strengthen our talent pipelines, and continually improve the experience we provide.
- Regular progress updates and reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
