We Are Looking For a Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with hiring managers across Virgin Active and KAUAI to attract and recruit brilliant people across a range of high-volume and specialist roles.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys building strong relationships and is committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy finding new ways to attract talent, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process across your designated business areas.
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective hiring plans.
- Creating engaging attraction campaigns across job boards, social media and our careers website.
- Proactively sourcing candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Building talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment needs.
- Developing partnerships with colleges, training providers and local community organisations.
- Planning and supporting recruitment events, careers fairs and assessment centres.
- Coaching hiring managers on interviewing, selection and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Providing market insight and recruitment data to support hiring decisions.
- Improving recruitment processes to reduce time-to-hire and strengthen the candidate experience.

Who We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience building modern web applications in production environments.
- Expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Storybook.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable architectures and component-driven applications.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Knowledge of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing quality, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms (nice to have).
- Exposure to design systems and multi-market digital platforms (nice to have).
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (nice to have).
What You’ll Get

- Strong candidate attraction and direct sourcing experience.
- Confidence partnering with hiring managers and managing multiple vacancies.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- The ability to work from our London Support Office three days per week.

Pay Range
£35,000—£40,000 GBP
